Situated in Highgate Village, a fashionable residential area near to Hampstead, this late Victorian building set in its own grounds offers visitors an ideal location for peace and tranquillity, whilst being within easy travelling distance of the West End and the many tourist sights London has to offer. Closer attractions are the well-known gothic Highgate Cemetery is now the final resting place for many eminent writers, politicians and artists. The beautiful neo-classical 18th century Kenwood House overlooking an equally beautiful part of Hampstead Heath. And just short tube rides from Archway or Highgate are the alternative Camden Markets. Once a hubbub of cutting edge youth culture, it draws a more mixed crowd these days, attracted by its reputation for ethnic arts, crafts, jewellery, second-hand clothing and a variety of food stalls.

| There is a local market at the Nags Head, which offers a wide range of fruit and vegetables. This Hall is ideal for visitors of all ages, groups of school and college students, backpackers and independent travellers.

All bedrooms are arranged in traditional hotel style and consists of single rooms, (- a few with mezzanines-) with washbasins and shared facilities. The ratio of bathrooms, showers, WCs is about 1 to 6 and each floor has fully equipped kitchens for self-catering and supplied with fridge/freezer, a microwave, cooker, crockery and cutlery, a kettle and a toaster. There is a large TV lounge/common room which has retained many of the original features of this elegant house. The rooms on the upper floors offer spectacular views of London. The hall has a lift to all floors, 24 hour access, coin operated laundry, public telephones and CCTVs. There is also some limited parking. This hall also has a double ground floor flat with its own kitchenette and bathroom opening up out into the garden. Clean linen is provided for each guest and is changed weekly. Kitchens and bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned daily.
The hall has a total of 113 beds, all single rooms with one room suitable for people with physical disabilities.
