Location:
Chalet Sofia is located in the centre of Borovets just 3 minutes walk from the main gondola. The restaurants, shops, bars and clubs are all a short stroll away.
Transfers to and from Sofia airport can be arranged, costing under £10 per person. The journey takes around 45 minutes.
In winter Borovets is ideal for skiing and snowboarding and in summer for walking and outdoor activities. There are over a dozen places to rent ski equipment and there are plenty of well qualified and multi-lingual instructors. Packages for ski/snowboarding lessons, equipment hire and ski pass for the whole week cost under £100.

Accommodation:
Brand new wooden chalet located in the centre of Borovets in a tranquil location behind the Samokov hotel. The gondola lift, restaurants, bars and shops are all a few minutes walk away.
The 2 storey chalet has electric heating, sleeps 6 people and comprises 3 bedrooms. There is one open plan bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 sepearte bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and one with a double bed. There is a large living room with kitchenette.
There is a large veranda on the ground floor and a balcony upstairs. The bathroom has a shower, WC and separate sauna.

Rates:
For the whole chalet for the week:
January – March 2004: £480
April – December 2004: £350
The chalet is let from Saturday to Saturday. Price is in £GBP to let the whole chalet for 1 week. No meals are included in the rental price. Self catering facilities are available.
Payment to be made by cheque or bank transfer (details available on request). £100 deposit required and the remainder of the cost to be paid 4 weeks before travelling.

Facilities:
Chalet Sofia is accredited with 3 star hotel standard. Bed linen and towels are provided and changed during the week. A cleaner comes in daily.
Numerous bars and restaurants are within walking distance and are very good value. A pint of beer can be enjoyed for 60 pence. A 3 course meal costs around £10.
